A quick note about some local Vancouver events this weekend...
Friday night is the launch party & gallery show for YOU AIN'T NO DANCER vol 3 from New Reliable Press. I'll be displaying a page of art (not for sale) from the story Sabina and I contributed and a related one-off print (that will be for sale). The party goes from 8 - 11pm at Lucky's Comics, 3972 Main Street.
This Sunday is the WORD ON THE STREET book fair downtown at Library Square. The event runs from 11am - 6pm. I will be set up in the comics section (inside + down the stairs), selling my usual comics and prints. I may even have a few copies of Emiko Superstar for sale.
And here's an advance warning of two out-of-town events I'm scheduled to attend:
October 18-19 -- PURE SPECULATION sci-fi & fantasy festival in Edmonton, Alberta
November 9 -- VICTORIA BOOK & PAPER SHOW in Sidney, BC
